Installation Instructions
  1. To cut the bunk covers to the proper size, measure the length of the bunk and add 3”. This allows for a 1-1/2” flap to cover each end.

  2. Mark this measurement on the unrolled product. Use utility shears or sharp scissors to cut the material, making sure you get a clean square cut.

  3. Fit the cover over the bunk board, and position so you’ve got an equal 1-1/2” overhang on each side. Using clamps will help hold in place.

  4. Next cut the 1-1/2” length of flexible hinge, then cut protruding side pieces from bottom to remove. The top flap will then be folded down & screwed to the end of the board.

  5. Use stainless steel screws or staples on one end then down the length of the bunk on both sides.

Description

ASTROslip Trailer Bunk Covers are designed to replace carpet on boat trailer bunks. The product is sold on a coil so that it can be cut to custom lengths providing a uniform coverage of the bunk from end to end. The material is a durable UV resistant polymer that reduces friction between your boat and trailer making your launch and retrieval a breeze. Available in multiple sizes for every trailer need.

Specs

The product is sized to fit directly onto standard sized pressure treated lumber. Sizes include: 2×4, 2×6, 2″ Version(covers top edge of boards mounted in a vertical orientation) and our new “Universal Fit” for use on heavy duty, Cypress bunk trailers. Each version is available in coils of 17 ft. and 25 ft. lengths and for our OEM customers we offer 500 ft. magnum coils.
